Confessions of a blogging mama. . .
Oh how I had plans to blog about decorating our tree, our gingerbread house, stocking stuffers, the Christmas presentation at church, and fun pictures of a funny brother and two very sweet sisters. Typically I would let other things slide (laundry, cleaning toilets, sleep) in order to blog. There was is still too much to do before Christmas morning so this is all I could muster up the energy for.

In case I don't get back to blogging before then, Merry Christmas.

It really is 1:20AM, and yes, that really is lipstick on my kids' noses. . .even the baby! It's just Colorstay by Revlon, no harm in that! Luckily the "staying" power sucks and it wiped right off with a tissue. Wait a minute - I pay extra for the colorSTAY don't I?

Soliciting helpful tips. . .

I know there are a lot of Mamas out there who are like me and take oodles and oodles of pictures. I would love to take a photography course but just don't have the time. I edited these a bit doing what I know how to do with PSE, but I would love tips from any and all of you on how you go about cropping, changing the lighting, saturation, color, etc. If anyone has time and is willing to edit one of these and e-mail it to me, I'd love to post it with your tips!!!

All About Addi. . .

Time is going by so quickly. I can't believe Addi is already three months old. Three things she loves:
1. Being carried by Gong-Gong
2. Her Swing
3. Her Boppy

Three things she dislikes:
1. Tummy time
2. Loud siblings when she's tired
3. People sneezing - she gets startled and cries

Three things that I can't believe:
1. How fast she's growing
2. How many sounds she makes - She coos and her voice is so sweet!
3. How blessed I am to be her Mama

Playing Catch-Up:
We celebrated Addi's Red Egg and Ginger Party on November 21st. It was a wonderful time with friends!

The girls don't mind taking photos. In fact, Gracyn loves to take photos with Addi! I took these while big brother slept. . .

 

By the time he woke up, a whole 5 minutes later, the sun had already begun to set. And honestly, he didn't want to take pictures. . ."Just one," he said, although I managed to bribe convince him into a dozen few.

 

 

Addi's first Christmas. . .sigh. . .I can't believe how big she's getting!

 

So even though boys don't like to take pictures, they do like to sing. Thought this might make you smile laugh.

BTW, that decorated sleigh behind Rudolph was by the singer's design. It's usually holding cute winter animals, but Peyton is in love with Santa's reindeer, so he insisted on creating reigns out of dog leashes, and putting all of his stuffed animals in tow! In fact, on the way to the mall, we had a conversation about Santa. Peyton: "Mom, we have to ask Santa what's his number. I'm going to call him. I'm going to ask him where his reindeer are. I won't even tell anybody, I'm serious."
